Aging & Disability Resource Connection

AgeWise Connection has expanded its information and referral services to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. Now caregivers, family members and individuals with disabilities can find the public or private services they need by calling the Aging and Disability Resource Connection.

 

Aging and Disability Resouce Connections are entry points to long term care support and resources across the life-span.  Now caregivers, family members and individuals with disabilities can find the public or private services they need by calling the Aging and Disability Resource Connection.

ADRC resource specialists can help individuals with diverse needs:

• Older persons
• Persons with disabilities
• Family members and caregivers
• Person who would benefit from Options Counseling for long-term care/support
• Professionals in the fields of healthcare, education, social services and advocacy
• Local businesses concerned about the caregiving needs of their employees

One phone call opens the door to information about community resources for aging families with complex needs, grandparents raising grandchildren with disabilities, and adults with physical or developmental disabilities.  You can reach the Aging and Disability Resource Connection at 404.463.3333.

Georgia DHR Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases - Learn more about state system changes, regional boards and hospitals, grant opportunities and consumer outreach initiatives.

Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) GCAL is the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases (MHDDAD) online resouce database and single point of entry.   MHDDAD provides treatment and support services to people with mental illnesses and addictive diseases, and support to people with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities.
