Business & Aging Awards
The Business & Aging Awards recognize companies and organizations that develop public-private partnerships or programs to improve the quality of life for older adults and are mutually beneficial to the business and its mission, to the aging network and to older adults and their families. They are presented annually by the Metropolitan Partnership in Aging, a consortium of 10 county-based aging programs and the Atlanta Regional Commission.
Nominations are judged based on the company’s commitment to creating mutually beneficial partnerships with the aging network that demonstrate commitment and ability to improve the quality of life or access to services for older adults, innovation and creativity, long-term, sustainable benefits to communities served and the ability to be replicated in other areas.
Previous winners have included WSB-TV, Channel 2, Georgia Power, Bob Adams Homes and Roy Wendt Homes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Up the Creek Fish Camp and Grill, GeorgiaCares, Pfizer, Inc., CVS/pharmacy, Outback Steakhouse--Suwanee, Georgia Pharmacy Association, Delta Air Lines and the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
